Specify the type of breakpoint you are setting.

You always have the option to set a software breakpoint.

If you are connected to a processor that supports HW breakpoints, you can select from a list of HW breakpoint options for that specific processor. For example:

HW Instr                                    Instruction address breakpoint.

HW Read                                   Read breakpoint at the specified memory location or address range.

HW Write                                  Write breakpoint at the specified memory location or range.

HW Access                              Access breakpoint at the specified memory location or range.

HW Data Value Read               Breakpoint triggered if the specified data value is read from any address.

HW Data Value Write              Breakpoint triggered if the specified data value is written to any address.

HW Data Value Access          Breakpoint triggered if the specified data value is accessed at any address.
