RealView
DebuggerRealView Debugger uses colors to indicate type of memory, and state, as follows:
Black
Black text indicates a type of memory that can be written (for example, RAM), and has not changed since the previous update of the window.
Blue
Blue text indicates that the contents of the cell have changed since the previous update of the memory window. These cells are changed to light blue at the next update, and then back to black for subsequent updates.
Red
Red text indicates either that memory is mapped as No-memory (that is, NOM, Auto, or Prompt in the Mapping tab of the Managers dialog), or there is an error condition.
*** The memory map defines this area as:
Memory that does not exist at this location, and reading or writing results in an error
Auto, in which case it is determined by the program image when it is loaded
Prompt, in which case, when you load a program image you are prompted to confirm the use of this memory.
!!! Indicates that RealView Debugger attempted to read from a memory location that is defined as accessible, but the action failed due to an error. Double right-click, to display an explanation of the problem.
Green
Green text indicates Flash memory for which RealView Debugger can find a Flash support file (.fme). If there is no Flash support file available, or RealView Debugger is unable to locate it, the memory is displayed as ROM (in yellow).
Yellow
Yellow text indicates ROM or Flash, non-writeable memory.
