DebuggerThe list of available targets is displayed in the Connection Control window:
The Synch tab is only available if you
are licensed for Multiple processor access.
To connect to a target:
1. Click
by a target to display any configured device:
2. Click
to connect the device using the connection
mode defined in your board file, or in the *.bcd
file associated with the target, or using the default connect mode (No Reset and Stop) if there is no user-defined mode. A checkmark indicates
that the device is connected 
. If you want to override
any user-defined connection mode,
right-click on the device line
and select Connect (Defining Mode)....
3. If you want to reconfigure the target, right-click on the target entry, for example, new_ARM, and select Configure Device Info… to open the appropriate configuration dialog. Click the Help button on the dialog for more information.
If you click and there
is not a device configured, a dialog is displayed with a number of options.
Select Configure Device Info…
to open the appropriate configuration dialog.
If you try to connect to more than one target, and you do not have a license
for Multiple processor access, an error message is displayed in a pop-up window.
If you try to connect to more than one RDI target, and they are not on
the same JTAG
scan chain, an error message is displayed.
There are a number of context menus available in this window, depending on where you right-click.
Right-click on a target vehicle, for example, ARM-A-RR.
The context menu contains some or all of the following options. Click the links to see pop-up descriptions of the options:
Right-click on a second-level entry, for example, Multi-ICE or RealView-ICE.

Right-click on a connected target.
