Mapfile tab

You can use a map file for the localhost connection to RealView ARMulator ISS. To do this you must create a map file, and set the MAPFILETOLOAD= entry in the RealView ARMulator ISS peripherals.ami configuration file to point to the map file. A Mapfile tab in the Register pane displays the details for each entry in the map file.

The RDI connection to RealView ARMulator ISS uses the map file but there is no Mapfile tab in the Register pane, and the map is not visible in the Map tab of the Process Control pane. If you want visibility of the map in RealView Debugger, you must define the memory blocks in the board file.

See the RealView ARMulator ISS User Guide for details of how to create a map file and set up RVISS to use it.
