Customising trace

 

RealView Debugger enables you to define tracepoints and to set complex conditions for generating trace information based on your specifications. You can configure your analyzer and set the control points for a trace capture from within the Code window. The results of the trace capture are displayed using the Analysis window, and you can  use the menu options to control the way in which the information is displayed.

To customise trace:

  1. If you are using an ETM target, configure the ETM. Optional.

  2. Set the analysis options that will be common to all your trace captures using the Analysis window Edit menu. Optional.

  3. If you want to confine tracing to a specific area of your program,  set tracepoints. Optional.
