Storing control-flow changes only

If you want to store only control-flow branches in the trace buffer, select ( $image\tickopt.gif$ ) Store Control-flow Changes Only from the Edit menu of the Analysis window. With this option selected, RealView Debugger extrapolates the contents of the trace buffer to return all the instructions, including those between the control-flow change points, to the Analysis window. This reduces the amount of information stored in the buffer during a trace capture session.

This option is especially useful when you are interested in using the Profile tab to analyze branching information only.

This option is not available for ETM targets.
