Analysis window

The Analysis window is dedicated to trace capture. The menus contain all the options for specifying the way that the data is collected, and the results of the trace capture are displayed in the Analysis window. To open the Analysis window:

•  Select Analysis window from the Code window View menu

Data is displayed in three tabs:

• Trace tab

• Source tab

• Profile tab

The Analysis window might also display status lines, which give information about the processor cycle.

In the Analysis window, you can:

• filter the results of a captured trace to refine your area of interest within the display

• sort the trace information by a preferred sort key

• find information at a specific location within the trace output

• store and retrieve capture information
