Trigger

Set an explicit trigger point on the selected address. Default.

Trace Start point (Instr only)

Sets a trace start point on the selected address. Tracing of instructions only begins at this start point. You can set Trace End Point to turn tracing off. If you do not set a trace end point, trace information is collected from the start point onwards.
Available only for simulator broker (localhost) connections.  

Trace Start point (Instr + Data)

Sets a trace start point on the selected address. Tracing of instructions and data begins at this start point. You can set Trace End Point to turn tracing off. If you do not set a trace end point, trace information is collected from the start point onwards.

Trace End Point

Sets a trace end point on the specified address. Trace collection stops at this point.

Start Tracing

Start tracing at the selected address.

Stop Tracing

Stop tracing at the selected address.

Trace Instr

To trace instructions only.

Trace Instr and Data

To trace instructions and data.

ExternalOutn

Select one of these options if you want to cause an external event to occur. Each of the points corresponds to a single-bit output signal from the ETM. Up to four signals are available. The ASIC manufacturer determines the availability and usage of these output signals. Refer to your ASIC documentation for details.
