Memory pane

The Memory pane displays the contents of an area of memory from a specified start address. If you select the Automatic Update option, the display is refreshed automatically as execution progresses.

image\lamp.gifYou can view more than one area of memory at a time. Use the Memory option from the Code window View menu to open panes.

Addresses are displayed in the left column, and the values stored there are displayed to the right of the addresses.

The start address of the area of memory displayed is the top left cell displayed in the Memory pane.

The start address expression is the current expression string entered from the Pane menu of the Memory pane to set the start address of the memory to be displayed.

Cell values are displayed using colors to differentiate the type of memory, or its current state. See Memory Cell Colors.

You can change the values in individual cells using in-place editing, or you can use the context menu options described below.
