Start

Specify the start address of the area of memory that you want to fill. It must be entered as a hexadecimal address in the format 0xnnnnnnnn.

End/Len

If Use Length is deselected (image\box.gif), specify the end address of the area of memory that you want to fill, in the same format as the start address.

If Use Length is selected (image\tick.gif), specify the length of the area of memory that you want to fill. The length must be relative to the specified Size.

Size

Select the data type from the drop down list:

natural the default format for the debug target

byte 8-byte signed and unsigned byte form

half-word 16-bit signed and unsigned half-words

long-word 32-bit signed and unsigned word.

Use Length (Count)

Select this option if you want to specify length rather than an end address in End/Len.

Pattern

Enter the pattern with which you want to fill the specified area of memory. You can specify a single expression, a string, or a list of either, separated by commas (,).

Click OK to fill the area of memory as specified. The dialog is closed.

Click Cancel to close the dialog without making any changes to memory.
