When you select Disconnect (Defining Mode) from the Target menu, a List Selection dialog is displayed for you to specify the state that you want the processor to be in when you disconnect:
As-is with Debug
Select this option if you want the processor left in its current state, whether stopped or running, and with the debug state unchanged, for example, software breakpoints.
As-is without Debug
Select this option if you want the processor left in its current state, whether stopped or running, and with all debug state removed.
Select one of the states from the list. Click OK.
Click Cancel to close the dialog without disconnecting from the target.
