Thread tab

This tab is available on the Process Control pane only when you are debugging an RTOS application.

When you select the Thread tab, you can see information about all of the threads in your RTOS application.

The current thread is indicated with an asterisk (*).

In HSD, you can only view the registers and variables of a thread when the processor is stopped.

In RSD, you can only view the registers and variables of a thread when it is captured by the Debug Agent. This happens when it hits a breakpoint or is stopped. A captive thread is indicated by a yellow spool icon. A gray spool icon indicates special threads that must always be running for RSD and therefore must not be made captive.
