How do I attach a code window?

In multiprocessor mode, you have the option to attach a Code window to a particular target. This is useful if you want to monitor all of your connections at once.

image\lamp.gifIf you are debugging an RTOS application, you can attach a Code window to a thread.

To attach a Code window to a target:

1.   Click image\brdwnar.gif on the image\nextactc.gif button.

2.   Select the processor to which you want to attach the window.

This now becomes the current processor (marked with *), and so any other unattached windows display information relating to that processor.

3.   Select the Attach Window to a Connection option.

The option is checked (image\tickopt.gif). The window is attached to the processor, and the processor name appears in the title bar of the Code window.

To remove the attachment:

1.   Click image\brdwnar.gif on the image\nextactc.gif in the attached window.

2.   Deselect the Attach Window to a Connection option.
