How do I create a journal file?

When you create a journal file, all commands, debugger output and messages are recorded in the journal file. JOU appears in the task bar at the foot of the Code window to indicate that a journal file is open.

Select the Logs and Journalimage\optarrow.gifJournal File… option from the Code window Tools menu.

The Select File to Journal to dialog is displayed for you to specify the name and location of the file. If you choose an existing file, you are given the choice of whether to append to it, or overwrite it.
