Changing register values for a thread

In HSD mode, you can view the registers for all threads when the processor is stopped, by cycling through the threads in an unattached Code window, or by attaching each thread to a separate Code window.

If you change a register value for a thread, the new value is only written to the processor register if that thread was running on the processor when it stopped. Otherwise, it is written to the stored (switched out) register for the thread.

In RSD mode, you can view the registers for any captive threads, either in an unattached Code window as the current thread, or by attaching each thread to a separate Code window. The values displayed relate to the thread only as the processor is still running.
