Synchronizing processors

RealView Debugger enables you to synchronize the processors in a multi-processing application, that is, where single Run, Step or Stop commands act on a group of processors.

Depending on the environment, synchronization is either Loose or Tight.

Use the Synch tab of the Connection Control window to define the processors you want to synchronize and whether to synchronize on Step, Run, or Stop.

You can also control cross-triggering between the processors in the group, that is, when one of the processors stops due to an event such as hitting a breakpoint, it generates a stop request to other processors in its group.
