Connecting to a running target

$image\exclaim.gif$ If you are connecting to RealView ICE, make sure that RealView ICE is configured so that it does not Reset On Connect, otherwise the target will stop when you connect to it.

If you want to connect to a target that is running your application image:

1. Select Connection $image\optarrow.gif$ Connect (Defining Mode)… from the Code window File menu.

2. Select No-Reset and No-Halt Target. Click OK.

3. When the target goes into RSD mode you can load the symbols for the image, load the source file and start debugging.

$image\lamp.gif$ If the OS marker displays RSD (pending symbols), you must recompile your image, including the symbols for the OS.
