How do I program flash memory?

To program flash, you must have a valid Flash MEthod (FME) file for your Flash device:

• If your Flash device is supported by RealView Debugger, you can use the FME file provided for that device. You can find the file in:
  
  install_directory\RVD\Core\...\flash\examples
  
  For details of how to use the FME files provided, see the chapter that describes reading and writing memory, registers, and Flash in the RealView Debugger v1.8 User Guide.

• If your Flash device is not supported by RealView Debugger, you must create your own FME file. For a detailed description of how to do this, see the RealView Debugger v1.8 Target Configuration Guide, Programming Flash with RealView Debugger.
