Detailed Description
Imagecache_enabled
(Project Properties window)
*.prj (or .apr)\SETTINGS\
Image_load\Imagecache_enabled
The image cache stores debug information from the image rather than from physical memory. This enables RealView Debugger to access the debug information if it cannot access the physical memory, for example, when the target is running. This is especially important when tracing, as you do not have to stop the target for RealView Debugger to collect or decompress trace information. Also, if the image cache is disabled, you cannot view the disassembly of your image when the target is running.
However, you might want to disable image cacheing if, for example, you have self-modifying code, which can lead to incorrect information being displayed.
