By default, you can collect trace information
without setting any tracepoints. Trace information is generated when you
execute your program. When you stop the processor, the trace information
currently in the buffer is returned to the Analysis window.
When a tracepoint
has been set, the Automatic Tracing Mode is ignored. It becomes effective
again as soon as the tracepoint is cleared.
Use the options in this sub-menu to specify
which type of Automatic Tracing Mode you want to use, or to turn automatic
tracing off:
|
|
Disables Automatic Tracing Mode. RealView Debugger
performs tracing using any tracepoints that you have set. |
|
|
Default. RealView Debugger automatically traces
on instructions. |
|
|
ETMv3 only.
RealView Debugger automatically traces on data only. |
|
|
RealView
Debugger automatically traces on both instructions and data. |
The
Automatic Tracing Mode options available depend on your target. For example,
simulators do not support Data Only tracing.
