Setting unconditional trace start and end points

1. Select the Dsm or Src tab of the File Editor pane.

2. Locate the instruction where you want to start tracing.

3. Right-click in the left margin of the File Editor pane to display the context menu.

4. Select Set/Toggle Tracepoint....

5. Select Trace Start Point
   in the left margin indicates the trace start point.

6. Locate the instruction where you want to stop tracing.

7. Right-click in the left margin of the File Editor pane to display the context menu.

8.  Select Set/Toggle Tracepoint....

9. Select Trace End Point
   in the left margin indicates the trace end point.

If you set a trace start point but do not set a trace end point, trace information is returned from the specified start point until execution stops.

If you set a trace end point but do not set a trace start point, trace information is returned from the location currently held in the PC until the trace end point is reached.
