HW Break if in Range dialog

This dialog is displayed when you select the HW Break if in Range… option from the BreakpointsHardware submenu of the Code window Debug menu.

Enter Address Range to Break on:

Select the type of hardware breakpoint that you want to set from the drop-down list:

HW Read triggered when the application reads from the specified address

HW Write triggered when the application writes to the specified address

HW Access triggered when the application accesses the specified address for any reason.

HW Instr triggered when the specified instruction is reached

Enter the address range that you want to trigger the breakpoint, as a function, struct/array, addr..addr, or addr..+length. Click $image\dropdown.gif$ to see options that might help you.

And if Data Value Matches:

Select this option ( $image\tick.gif$ ) if you also want a data value to match before the breakpoint is triggered.
