The RTOS-specific
support files are not installed with the product. You must download and
install the necessary OS
support dll.
For more information, select Goto
RTOS Awareness Downloads from the Code
window Help menu.
Before you can debug your RTOS application, you must specify the type of RTOS that your application is using, and enable the RTOS support:
If you have a board/chip definition file (*.bcd) for the RTOS, amend your target connection to include that file, as described in How do I use a board/chip definition file?
If you are not using a board/chip definition file to describe the RTOS that you are using, you must make some changes to the RTOS entry in the Default group of the CONNECTION Advanced_Information section of the connection properties for your processor before you start:
With RTOS selected in the left pane of the Connection Properties window, the right pane looks like this:

Click on any setting in the picture
above to see a description.
If you are using Running
System Debug, you must also make changes to the ARM_config
entry before you select Save and
Close from the File menu
of the Connection Properties window.
You are now ready to connect to your RTOS-enabled target and start debugging your RTOS application.
