RealView
DebuggerTooltip evaluation attempts to evaluate any text that you hover your mouse pointer over in the source (Src) or disassembly (Dsm) tabbed views of the Code window. If evaluation is possible, a tooltip is displayed with the name of the object and its value.
The option is enabled by default when
you install RealView Debugger.
If you want to disable tooltip evaluation for a file that you have open
in the Code window, deselect Advanced
Tooltip Evaluation
from the Code window Edit
menu. The setting persists for this session only.
You can change a setting in your Workspace Options window (or Options window if you are not working with a workspace) so that tooltip evaluation is off by default:
1. Select
Workspace
Workspace Options…from
the Code window File
menu to display the Workspace Options
window
2. In the left pane, expand the ALL group, and click on Edit:

3. In the right pane, right-click on No tooltip:

4. Select True from the context menu to disable tooltip evaluation.
Use the same procedure, setting No tooltip to False
to enable tooltip evaluation.
