Build-Tool Properties window

This dialog displays the settings that are used for building your files. Select the Build Tool Properties… option from the Code window Project menu.

These settings are stored in the genmake.loc file that resides by default in your RealView Debugger home directory. This file is prebuilt with the appropriate entries for using RealView Debugger with your licensed target processors. The build-tool settings are used for every project by default, but you can override them in your project so that different tools are used for a particular set of files.

If you are not using a project, but you want to rebuild a particular file, or set of files, RealView Debugger gives you the option to use the default toolchain, or to specify your own makefile or build script.

You can change the settings using this dialog. An asterisk (*) is displayed alongside any settings that are no longer at the default value.

For general information on changing the settings, see Changing Settings.

For specific help on any individual setting or group, right-click to display the context menu and then select the Detailed Description option.
