Step Over (next)

To step execution by lines of source code or assembler instructions over functions:

1.   Select the Src tab (to step source code), or Dsm tab (to step assembler) in the Code window.

2.   Select Step Over (next) from the Code window Debug menu.

Alternatively, you can use the button from the toolbar to step over source code, or to step over assembler instructions.

RealView Debugger steps and executes functions as if they are a single line or instruction. It executes the current line, or instruction at the program counter. If the line or instruction makes a function call, the function is executed completely before execution stops. If the program counter is located at non-source code, the program executes until it reaches source code.
