Select File to Log to dialog

Use this dialog to specify details of a file to use for logging output messages. You can either create a new file, or use an existing file. The dialog is displayed when you select Logs and Journalimage\optarrow.gifLog File… from the Tools menu of the Code window.

The dialog is basically a File Open dialog with some additional fields that help you to locate the folder where you want to create the file, or an existing log file that you want to use again.

Click Favorites… to open the Favorites dialog, and display a list of directories that you have set as favorites, from which you can select a directory.

Set File

Click on image\dropdown.gif to see a list of files that you have accessed recently. You can select a file from the list, and it is automatically entered in File name. Click Favorites… to open the Favorites dialog, and display a list of files that you have set as favorites, from which you can select a file.

The dialog is closed and the log file is opened. When you create a log file, all commands are written to it.
