RealView
DebuggerRealView Debugger has all the standard features of an application with a Graphical User Interface (GUI). You can use drop-down menus to find the main options that you need to use, and for many of them you can click on icons in the toolbars.
There are context menus throughout the application, which provide additional options, or alternative routes to main menu options. Right-click to access these menus. There might be more than one menu available, depending on the context. For example, clicking on a cell, or on an address in the Memory pane displays two different in context menus.
RealView Debugger displays most of its information in docked windows, referred to as panes, by default. See Windows and panes for more information. However, with the exception of the File Editor pane, you can choose to float any of the panes if you prefer. See Your RealView Debugger desktop.
You can either debug images that you have already built, or you can set up projects to build your source files, and store the image.
You can set up workspaces to save your debugging environment between sessions.
If you are using RealView Debugger for
the first time, see Getting Started.
