In the Add/Edit Macros dialog you can copy an existing macro to use as a basis for a new macro definition.
To display the dialog, select the Add/Edit Macros option from the Debug menu of the Code window. It displays a list of macros that are available for use in the current debugging session (excluding the RealView Debugger predefined macros).
1 Select the macro from the list of existing macros and click Copy. The details of the macro are displayed in the right pane, and a macro name is entered automatically in Name.
The new name is the same as the
existing macro name, incremented by 1, for example, macro
becomes macro1, macro1
becomes macro2.
2. Make changes to the macro details, and click Update to register the macro with the debugger. Any changes that you made after invoking the dialog are preserved for the remainder of the session.
3. If you want to save the macro for future use, click Save. The Select file to add/append into. dialog is displayed for you to specify file details.
