How do I reset a target?

You can perform or simulate a hardware reset of your target in one of the following ways:

• select  Reset Target Processor from the Debug menu of the Code window

• display the Process Control pane in the Code window, and select the Reset Target Processor option from the processor context menu.

If an actual hardware reset is not possible, the command places the processor in a state that is as close as possible to the hardware reset state. The actual behavior varies from one processor type to another and from one vehicle type to another.
