A Container project groups together a number of projects and enables development teams to share components. Project files can be controlled by your version control software if required.
The Create Container Project dialog is displayed when you select Container Project as the project type in a Create New project dialog.
Enter the path of the sub-projects
that you want to include in the container. Click Add
to add a sub-project to the list.
Alternatively, you can use the browse facility
to locate
and select the projects.
The order in which you enter the sub-projects is the order in which they
are built.
To replace a selected sub-project in the list, enter the path details for the new sub-project and click Rep.
Click Del to delete any selected sub-projects from the list.
Click AllOn to select all sub-projects in the list.
Click AllOff to deselect all sub-projects in the list.
Click Cancel to close the dialog without creating a new container project.
Click OK to create a container project containing all selected sub-projects, and close the dialog.
The Project Properties window is displayed. The Container project is defined using a subset of the project settings values. The PROJECT group includes a list of subprojects loaded by the container. The order of the list defines the order in which RealView Debugger opens the subprojects, and the build order.
