How do I disable memory mapping?

It is advisable to define the memory map for the processor that you are using.

However, there might be circumstances where you do not want to do this, in which case you can disable memory mapping as follows:

1. Select the Map tab of the Process Control pane of the Code window.

2. Right-click on one of the entries to display a context menu.

3. Click Toggle Memory Mapping to remove the checkmark ( $image\tickopt.gif$ ).

The message ***Memory Map Disabled*** is displayed.

$image\inform.gif$ Changes to memory appear in blue, but all other memory map coloring is turned off.
