Environment variables

There are three environment variables that you can use to override the default RealView Debugger installation:

• RVDEBUG_INSTALL to specify an installation directory that differs from the default. It is set automatically at installation.

• RVDEBUG_HOME to specify a home directory that differs from the default.

• RVDEBUG_SHARE is used to specify a shared location for RealView Debugger target configuration files.

In RealView Debugger, output to log files and journal files is unbuffered, that is, all lines are flushed to the specified file. To change this, set the environment variable JOULOG_UNBUF to the pathname for the journal or log file.
