New STDIOlog file
|
Select this option if you want to create a file to log output from your application (as viewed in the Output pane StdIO tab). The Select the File to Log the STDIO to dialog is displayed for you to specify the name and location of the file. If you choose an existing file, you are given the choice of whether you append to it, or overwrite it. When you create an STDIO log file, all STDIO output is written to it. STDIOlog appears in the task bar at the foot of the Code window to indicate that the log file is open. By default, all output is unbuffered, that is, all lines are flushed to the specified file. To change to buffered output, set the environment variable JOULOG_UNBUF to the pathname for the log file. |
