Configuring RV Armulator ISS

This dialog enables you to provide the debugger with information about your RealView ARMulator ISS target environment.

Processor

Select a processor from the list of variants.

Clock

Specify whether you want to use an Emulated or Real-time clock. If you select Emulated, you must specify a speed.

Debug Endian

Click on a radio button to specify the byte order of the target for debugging:

Start Endian

If your model includes a CP15 coprocessor, you must specify whether you want to start up in little-endian mode as it would be in real hardware (select Hardware Endian), or with its endianness set to the debug endianness (select Debug Endian). Click on the relevant radio buttons.

image\lamp.gifFor models without a CP15, the endianness of the target is set by the value of the Debug Endian button. The Start Endian button is ignored.

Additional Modules

Floating Point

Specify the type of floating-point coprocessor that you are using. If you are not using a floating-point coprocessor, select No FPU. Otherwise, select either VFPv2, or VFPv2 (Fast-mode) or FPA.

MMU/PU Initialization

If your processor uses an MMU, and it is enabled, select Default Page-Tables. Otherwise, RealView Debugger assumes no page tables.
