Loosely coupled
|
Synchronization of a group of processors is described as Loose if there is likely to be a significant time delay (the skid) between the first processor stopping and the last processor stopping. The delay might be several seconds (many million instructions). In a software environment, and some hardware environments, RealView Debugger is only able to use a loosely synchronized system. |
