How do I connect to a running target?

$image\exclaim.gif$ If you are connecting to RealView ICE, make sure that RealView ICE is configured so that it does not Reset On Connect, otherwise the target will stop when you connect to it.

If you want to connect to a target that is running your application image:

Select Connect to Target… from the Code window Target menu.
Right-click on the connection entry in the Connection Control window and select Connect (Defining Mode)… from the context menu.
Select No Reset and No Stop. Click OK.
When the target goes into RSD mode you can load the symbols for the image, load the source file and start debugging.

$image\lamp.gif$ If the OS marker displays RSD (pending symbols), you must recompile your image, including the symbols for the OS.
